I am Veronika Maria Krause, a photographer by heart, living between Mallorca and Barcelona. I sometimes still ask myself whether I chose photography as a means of expression or if photography chose me. So here I am, with all my being, at your service.

As your photographer, you invite me into your intimate space, your close circle, whether it's a personal portrait photoshoot, showcasing your own brand, looking for an unique couple photosession, or with your family. That's why I want you to know a little bit more about me, to build a relationship based on trust and open communication and to meet you on the same level.

 

I was born and raised in a small town in southern Germany, Ravensburg. I would say that it is the most beautiful region in Germany (but doesn't everyone say that about their hometown?). I spent the summers with my family at Lake Constance and in winter, I went to the mountains. I grew up in the countryside until I was drawn to explore the big wide world. With always a camera in my hand, those travels weren't just about capturing moments; they were about storytelling, about capturing glimpses of the world through my eyes, a silent yet profound way of expressing the unspoken. 

 

Photography for me was, and still is, a way to express in photographs what I didn't have the words for, a form of communication of how I see the world and what was happening around me and within me. Traveling and photography became a part of my life, and "Trial and Error" were my greatest and most important teachers, always following my inner call.

 

Inspired and motivated to explore the path of subtle expression, authenticity, the essence of the moment, and the beauty of simplicity, I aim to take pictures that go beyond what the camera can capture. Also, the question of "Who am I?" has accompanied me on my photographic journey. This longing has given me a sensitivity to my vision that enables me to perceive and portray the beauty of every person, every moment, and the world around me.

 

So, in the end, it's not only the photo itself; it's the whole experience and what it represents and triggers in you. That piece of the puzzle that brings you back to that one personal moment or helps you to remember who you really are.
